A Master's degree in a human service field with a clinical practicum plus 1 year of related experience is preferred, This full-time position offers a variety of benefits including paid time off, holidays, health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and a great team and environment in which to work! Rehabilitative counseling services for adults with SMI are provided under the guidelines of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Medicaid through the development of individualized treatment plans, assisting recipients with medication and treatment compliance, learning coping skills, and working through a crisis situation. Must be organized, have good working relationships, have the ability to discern recipient needs and levels of service intensity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitates, monitors and evaluates provision of services to the recipients of the agency in accordance with DMHstandards Provides direction of staff assigned to the ACT Team Monitors staffing of cases to assure compliance to all policies and standards Ensures that all billing and clinical documentation is complete, accurate, compliant, and current Coordinates services with community and state resources as needed Monitors all ACT services for clinical appropriateness and compliance Provides screening of consumers for ACT services according to stated criteria for the program Responsible for coordinating staffing with team members in accordance with standards Responsible for the coordination of recipient's transition to a more or less intense level of care if appropriate Provides assessments and emergency/crisis intervention services to ACT recipients Responsible for scheduling home visits to meet the needs of each consumer admitted to the
