Responsibilities include medical record review, QI data analysis and reporting, conducting clinical audits and tracers, Physician Advisor interaction, and special projects which are coordinated and directed by the QI/UM Team Leader, Manager, or Director. May design and initiate special projects as supervised by department management.
Requirements:
Education:
Completion of an accredited Nursing (RN or LPN), Physician's Assistant, or bachelor's degree in related healthcare preferred.
Work Experience:
Requires five (5) years equivalent full-time clinical experience as Registered Nurse, M.D., P.A., Experience in at least two areas of clinical specialty is preferred. Prefer a minimum of three years related experience in quality improvement or safety, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, identifying and solving problems and conducting educational programs with hospital staff, facilitating discussion with multidisciplinary team to recommend solutions etc.
