Part-Time LCSW Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping people heal and grow. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations. Your expertise will support individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, trauma, addiction, and behavioral health issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate behavior change. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA standards for medical records and medical terminology. Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across community resources, hospitals, or home settings. Conduct diagnostic evaluations using

coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards including CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses. Experience Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution with a current New Jersey LCSW license in good standing Proven experience providing psychotherapy or clinical counseling in diverse settings such as private practices, hospitals, clinics, or community health programs. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Understanding of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with

coding systems for diagnosis classification. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively. Experience in addiction counseling or substance use disorder treatment. Knowledge of crisis management protocols and trauma-informed care practices is a plus. New client referrals will be assigned as they come in, and the first few months may be slower while your schedule fills. Caseload growth is dependent on client demand and clinician availability.
