Clinician I - ICM (Regular Full-Time, Hourly)

40 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Rate:
$39.42 to $39.82 per hour
Education:
Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
Licensure:
Licensed, license-eligible, or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required Candidates who are eligible to submit their BBS application within 60 days of conferred Master's degree are encouraged to apply. Clinical supervision is available for this position.

Assume primary responsibility for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising overall treatment goals and plans in conjunction with the ICM treatment team. Provide individual supportive counseling and symptom management. Conduct comprehensive assessments of psychiatric mental status, diagnosis, and family structure and relationships Provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services. Provide direct clinical services to clients on an individual, group or family basis in the office and in community settings. Act as liaison to and consult with community agencies and families to coordinate treatment. Additional Qualifications and Skills Strong clinical skills and experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Two years of experience providing mental health services. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical and rehabilitation theory. Knowledge of substance use disorders and addiction preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential A valid California driver's license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Ability to pass criminal/background clearance CRF inspires and mentors the next generation of mental health professionals! Our Intensive Mobile Psychosocial Assertive Community Treatment programs (Downtown IMPACT, IMPACT, Senior IMPACT and South Bay IMPACT) provide intensive, community-based case management services for homeless adults throughout San Diego County. We deliver fully integrated services to clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance disorders. Our programs utilizes the evidence-based practice of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) to support our clients in the higher level of community care and to assist them in reaching their goals and living a life not dominated by mental illness. Our team is a model of care, providing treatment, rehabilitation, and case management supports. CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego Countys residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
