About Vitality Counseling Vitality Counseling is a growing, clinician-led outpatient mental health practice committed to delivering high-quality therapy and psychiatric services to our community. Our Starkville location is newly opened and led by Dr. Rachel Clair Franklin, LPC-S, a seasoned clinician and experienced leader dedicated to building a practice where both clients and clinicians can thrive. The Opportunity We are seeking licensed therapists and counselors who are passionate about their craft and ready to build a meaningful caseload in a supportive, well-organized private practice setting. This is a 1099 independent contractor position that offers real clinical autonomy alongside the administrative and operational support that makes solo practice difficult. What we handle so you can focus on clients: Insurance credentialing and billing Scheduling and intake support EHR platform (SimplePractice) with full setup Furnished office space in a professional clinical setting Referral pipeline from clinic director and existing network Supervision and consultation access as applicable Website and CRM support Compensation & Structure Compensation is structured as a competitive revenue split on collected insurance and private pay sessions. Our split is performance-based and designed to reward clinicians who build and maintain a consistent caseload, the more you produce, the more you earn. Specific terms are discussed during the interview process.

Flexible scheduling You maintain clinical autonomy over your caseload and treatment approach Payments processed on a consistent biweekly schedule Clear, transparent path to increased earning potential as the clinic grows Qualifications — Required Active, unrestricted Mississippi license: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independent licensure Ability to independently bill insurance (no associate/supervised licensure for billing purposes) Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or related clinical field Ability to manage your own documentation and progress notes in a timely manner Commitment to ethical, evidence-based clinical practice Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centered treatment philosophy Qualifications — Preferred Experience with trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, ACT, or other evidence-based modalities Experience working with adults, adolescents, or families (we welcome all specialty areas) Existing or emerging referral relationships in the Starkville / Oktibbeha County area Comfort with telehealth delivery in addition to in-person sessions Experience with SimplePractice or similar EHR Why Vitality?
