We are a growing outpatient facility with a strong vision and a commitment to developing therapists who want long term careers in behavioral health. Position Overview The Therapist will provide direct clinical services to adults with substance use and co occurring mental health disorders through individual counseling, group facilitation, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to grow, contribute to a collaborative clinical environment, and help shape a high-quality outpatient program. We welcome

, and dual-licensed clinicians. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Provide individual therapy using evidence based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, REBT, trauma-informed approaches). Facilitate structured therapy groups for IOP and OP levels of care. Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocials, ASAM placement criteria, and ongoing clinical evaluations. Develop and update individualized treatment plans focusing on both SUD and co occurring mental health needs. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, APN, and case management staff to ensure coordinated care. Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and peer consultations. Communicate effectively with housing staff, support services, and the administrative team when needed to support continuity of care. Professional Growth & Contribution Engage in ongoing supervision (if required by licensure) and take advantage of professional development opportunities. Contribute ideas for program improvement, new therapeutic groups, or specialized tracks. Uphold a positive, supportive team culture centered on integrity, compassion, and accountability.
Qualifications Active NJ license:
LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC, CADC, or equivalent. Experience with SUD population is preferred but strong new clinicians with passion and willingness to learn will be considered. Knowledge of co occurring disorders and integrated treatment preferred. Ability to build rapport with diverse clients and manage group dynamics professionally. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR systems (experience with KIPU is a plus). What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and credentials.
