Job description: About Luminous Mind, LLC Luminous Mind, LLC is a startup mental health practice committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and holistic mental health services to individuals and families. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space where healing and transformation can thrive. Position Summary Luminous Mind, LLC is seeking licensed & passionate Contract Therapists to provide individual, family, and/or group counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Therapists will provide clinical services under a flexible, independent contractor model, collaborating with the Co-CEO and support staff as needed. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy services (individual, family, or group) to assigned clients. Conduct clinical intakes, develop treatment plans, and maintain updated documentation in the EHR system. Assess client needs, risk factors, and progress, modifying treatment plans as appropriate. Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, assessments, and discharge summaries in compliance with state and Medicaid requirements. Attend required meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision (as applicable). Collaborate with other providers, case managers, and community resources to ensure coordinated care. Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice. Qualifications Must hold a valid license to practice therapy in New Mexico or Texas (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LMSW under supervision). Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field. Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule and caseload. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required. Must pass background check and provide professional liability insurance. Free supervision for Clinicians in New Mexico Preferred Skills Trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices. Knowledge of Medicaid billing and documentation standards. Experience in telehealth platforms and virtual therapy tools. Interest in holistic and integrative approaches to mental health (e.g., mindfulness, EMDR, somatic work). Contract Details This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Flexible schedule:
you set your hours and caseload size. Competitive per-session rate based on licensure and experience. Supervision available for New Mexico LMSWs seeking clinical licensure (additional agreement required). Access to EHR, billing support, and clinical consultation.
