McSilver Description:
The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research is looking to hire a part-time bilingual (English-Spanish) study assessor for the randomized controlled trial: "Treating Maternal PTSD to
Enhance Parenting and Reduce Maltreatment Recidivism:
Safe Mothers, Safe Children." This study, an exciting collaboration between ACS and NYU, aims to improve the identification, case management, and treatment of mothers with trauma-related disorders who are raising young children and receiving child welfare preventive services to reduce the risk of repeat maltreatment and to improve positive parenting. We are currently recruiting for a part-time study assessor. The assessor will conduct the client assessments throughout treatment, with the exception of the pre-treatment assessment.
Responsibilities:
include, but are not limited to: Conduct mid, post, and follow-up assessments throughout study implementation Maintain assessment records Write compliance charts based on the assessments Collaborate with research staff in necessary reporting, trainings, auditing, and case discussions Comply with current IRB regulatory requirements and procedures
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of clinical experience Bilingual (English-Spanish) Flexibility around work hours Experience with virtual tele service delivery, i.e., Zoom Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills Experience with research, project management, and collection of research assessments is a plus Knowledge of evidence-based trauma interventions and child welfare is preferred Equal Employment Opportunity Statement For people in the EU, click here for information on your privacy rights under
