The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. Duties
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions
  • Develop treatment plans based on clients' needs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
  • Implement behavioral therapy techniques
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions and documentation
  • Utilize crisis intervention and management strategies when necessary
  • Apply coding and ICD-9 knowledge for billing purposes
  • Incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy into counseling sessions
  • Offer mental health counseling and support services
  • Engage in case management to coordinate comprehensive care
Experience Required:
  • LCDC-II certification
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management
Nice-to-have:
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system
  • Background in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
