Job Description

Company Overview:
Bridge to Well-Being Counselling Center is a private practice that believes that by working together we can bridge challenging times and achieve wellness for those in need. Our practice helps children, families, and adults by offering a range of specialties designed to empower our clients to achieve success. Our practice offers a safe setting for all clients that wish to visit us for in-person sessions, but also encourages clients to choose virtual appointments if they desire. If you have a strong desire to assist individuals, offer compassionate counseling, and are looking to work independently for a private practice, this job is a perfect fit for you. We encourage our licensed clinicians to set a schedule that best meets the needs of their clients, as well as the method on which they would like to receive their services, whether in-person or telehealth. Clinicians are responsible to manage their clients and caseload as well as work independently but will have the support of a Practice Manager and a well-respected local behavioral health organization in our parent company to assist with operational aspects of the practice allowing for our therapists to focus on our leading priority -- the needs of their clients. Job Purpose/Summary With the as needed consultation of the Group Practice Manager, the Licensed Clinician provides therapy and related clinical services to consumers independently in a private practice setting.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in social work, mental health, nursing, psychology, counseling, or a related human services/mental health field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience providing therapeutic clinical interventions to consumers, groups, and/or families.
Licenses, Certifications & Clearances:
    PA State Professional License:
    LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
    • Eligible for insurance credentialing and completion of the insurance credentialing process for BTWB
    • Act 33/34 Clearances
    FBI Clearance Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
    • Exhibits ethical business behavior and maintains confidentiality of information and compliance as required by WFS policy.
    • Ability to exhibit cultural sensitivity and to contribute to a work environment where diversity is welcomed and supported.
    • Commitment to supporting the Quality Whole Person Care® service philosophy and work-place culture.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health best practices and principles as they apply to the provision of services.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of documentation practices necessary for accurate billing.
    • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make sound judgements.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with internal and external consumers.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and operate within the scope of professional licensure standards and training.
    • Proficiency with computers and knowledge of relevant software. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Provides individual, group, and family therapy services within the parameters of professional licensure, the profession's code of ethics, insurance company requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Translates theoretical knowledge into effective time sensitive treatment interventions based upon individual and family dynamics.
    • Operates independently using sound clinical judgement.
    • Completes consumer intake and assessment as assigned by the Group Practice Manager, which also includes completing necessary intake paperwork.
    • Maintains documentation for involvement with and contacts made by consumers. Adheres to documentation requirements established by the insurance company and other applicable guidelines.
    • Completes documentation accurately to ensure clean and timely billing.
    • Consults with external providers, as needed, to ensure continuity of care.
    • Responds to crisis calls after hours as clinically appropriate and outlined by the insurance company contract.
    • Markets the practice to build caseload.
    • Utilizes the clinical consultation of the Group Practice Manager on an as needed, case-by-case basis.
    • Communicates with consumers regarding outstanding balances and works with the Group Practice Manager on the creation of payment plans.
    • Maintains current credentialing with insurance companies and licensure, as well as provides applicable documentation to the Group Practice Manager.
    • Familiarizes self with company policies and procedures and how they guide business processes.
    • Reports any claims against the liability insurance to the Group Practice Manager within 24 hours of notification.
    • Reports any written formal complaints/grievances to the Group Practice Manager within 24 hours of receipt.
