Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Clinician/OPT (Occupational and Physical Therapist) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care, conduct assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to improve functional outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Develop and implement tailored therapy plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Provide psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and counseling services for patients dealing with mental health issues, addiction, PTSD, and behavioral challenges. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, case managers, and medical professionals to ensure holistic patient management. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records following HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed clinical documentation using appropriate medical terminology and coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT). Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in clinical settings or community environments to promote recovery and resilience. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Clinician or Occupational/Physical Therapist with relevant state credentials. Accepting LMHP, LMHP-R, LPC and LCSW Proven experience in behavioral health, mental health counseling, or addiction medicine; home & community care experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, ICD coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology. Demonstrated skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, and case management to support diverse patient populations. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations, patient assessments, and behavioral management techniques. Experience working with children & families is preferred; familiarity with hospital settings or PTSD care is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while adhering to HIPAA standards for medical records confidentiality.
