Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care through direct support, clinical counseling, and innovative therapeutic interventions. You will work in a collaborative environment that values your skills training, crisis management, and behavioral health to promote recovery and resilience among diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors. Your dedication will help foster positive outcomes and empower clients on their journey toward wellness. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments utilizing
CANS/ANSA
to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide targeted case management and skills training services to youth and adults. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively while ensuring client safety and stability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts, including medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Provide psychosocial rehabilitation services, medication training support as needed. Complete documentation, including progress notes within 24 hours of service. Provide services during flexible hours, which may include evenings or weekends. Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with coursework equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, counseling, sociology, rehabilitaion, special education, early childhood education, human growth and development, or related behavioral fields as defined 412.316(d) OR Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Texas Familiarity with crisis management techniques and crisis intervention protocols Strong understanding of Texas Administrative Code TAC related to Targeted Case Management TMC, experience with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and compliance We seek passionate professionals committed to delivering compassionate care through innovative therapies and collaborative teamwork.
