The organization offers customized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, educational, and vocational needs of each client. Lantana Recovery emphasizes innovative and personalized treatment experiences rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. The programs are designed to support clients as they work toward meaningful and lasting recovery.
General Responsibilities:
The IOP Recovery Manager plays a vital role in supporting clients enrolled in Lantana Recovery's Intensive Outpatient Program. Working in close partnership with the IOP clinical team—and under the supervision of the Director of Operations—this position provides hands-on client support, facilitates group programming, and coordinates essential case management functions during the afternoon IOP session. The ideal candidate brings compassion, organizational skill, and a solid understanding of the recovery process to help clients build a strong foundation for lasting wellness.Core Responsibilities:
Group Facilitation:
Co-facilitate or independently lead 1-3 recovery-support or psychoeducational groups per week during the IOP session, as directed by the lead clinician. Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive group environment that encourages client engagement and participation. Coordinate group topics and materials with the IOP therapist to ensure alignment with individualized treatment goals.Client Engagement & Attendance:
Monitor and track client attendance for each IOP session, following up promptly with clients who are absent or at risk of non-compliance. Document attendance patterns and communicate concerns to the clinical team in a timely manner. Build positive, trust-based relationships with clients to promote accountability and sustained engagement in treatment.Onboarding & Communication:
Send welcome emails to newly admitted IOP clients, providing a warm introduction and essential program information. Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients during IOP session hours, addressing questions and connecting them to appropriate resources.Case Management Coordination:
Coordinate with assigned external Case Managers to ensure clients' needs — including housing, transportation, community resources, and social services — are being addressed. Communicate client updates, progress, and concerns between the clinical team and external providers as needed. Assist clients in connecting with community support groups, sober living resources, and aftercare services.Crisis Intervention & Support:
Respond promptly to client crises or emergencies during IOP hours, providing immediate de-escalation support and notifying clinical staff. Ensure clients in acute distress are connected to appropriate clinical or emergency resources without delay.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate, timely records of client attendance, interactions, and notable developments in the electronic health record system. Complete all required documentation in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory standards. Complete SAFE-T assessments on admitting clients.Collaboration & Compliance:
Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations as requested. Adhere to all Lantana Recovery policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA / 42 CFR Part 2). Demonstrate and uphold the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in all client and staff interactions. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain current knowledge of recovery best practices.Additional Responsibilities:
(Clinically Licensed / Eligible Candidates) Candidates who hold or are working toward clinical licensure (e.g., LPC, LISW-CP , LAC, or equivalent) may be assigned additional clinical responsibilities, including:Treatment Planning:
Contribute to the development and regular review of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising clinician.Utilization Review Support:
Assist with gathering clinical documentation and supporting information required for insurance utilization reviews and continued-stay determinations.Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a behavioral health, human services, or related field preferred. Relevant certification or licensure — CPSS (Certified Peer Support Specialist) is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of addiction recovery, mental health, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.Preferred:
Prior experience in anIOP , PHP
, or residential behavioral health setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Personal lived experience with recovery (peer perspective valued). Clinical licensure or enrollment in a clinical licensure program (for expanded responsibilities).Hours :
Monday-Friday 3pm-7pmPhysical Requirements:
