DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
About Us Evolve Outreach of Texas is a growing behavioral health organization dedicated to serving children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Texas. We partner with Texas Medicaid programs and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to deliver quality mental health services focused on recovery, stabilization, and community integration.

  • Additional Texas Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) We are seeking compassionate and motivated LPHAs to supervise QMHP's who provide skills training and case management services to LOC 2 and LOC 3 Medicaid clients in community, home, school, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities Assists the Managing Director with designing and developing the clinical aspects of program services.
  • Meets weekly or as needed with Support Coordinators to provide clinical guidance, assess the dynamics and needs of each case, determine the appropriateness of therapeutic strategies, and assess the progress of service delivery and planning.
  • Train new Support Coordinators
  • Plans and facilitates weekly/monthly peer supervision meetings, or as needed
  • Reviews client files to ensure proper and complete documentation of actions and services.
  • Assists the Managing Director in appraising staff performance.
  • Prepares or reviews written diagnostic assessments, assessing clients from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, psychological/emotional, social, academic, medical, behavioral, substance abuse, skills, strengths, barriers to economic self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others, and utilizing various assessment instruments
  • Participate in wraparound team meetings to enlist existing support in determining and meeting service objectives and to identify additional resources and supports
  • Ensure recovery plans are completed before servicing, incorporating input from clients, involved service providers, and wraparound team members, and identifying problem areas and needs, strategies, and service objectives
  • Responds to crises
  • Documents case activities for both clinical and billing purposes
  • Prepares progress reports as required by referral source or service purchaser.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with other case-involved service providers and professionals, such as attorneys, school personnel, social workers, and probation counselors
  • Attends court hearings when families are court-involved and presents testimony and treatment recommendations as requested by attorneys, referral sources, the court, or clients
  • Guides, collaborates, and coordinates with the Support Coordinator regarding service strategies and case management, ensuring the adequate exchange of information
  • Prepares written Discharge Summary and Plan
  • Advise the Managing Director of the state of clinical services, its staff, and its needs, and solicit his assistance in implementing solutions to problems
  • Other duties may be required
  • Complete behavioral health assessments and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid and MCO standards
  • Collaborate with QMHPs, case managers, physicians, hospitals, and community partners
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Texas Medicaid, TMHP, and MCO guidelines
  • Support crisis intervention and continuity of care services as needed Population Served

  • Adults with serious mental illness (SMI)
  • LOC 2 and LOC 3 Medicaid populations Qualifications
  • Active Texas license as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
  • Must qualify as an LPHA under Texas Medicaid standards
  • Experience with Texas Medicaid behavioral health preferred
  • Knowledge of TMHP and MCO documentation requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to provide community-based services Preferred Experience

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and Experience An individual who possesses any of the following licenses is considered a candidate for
    Clinical Supervisor:
    • Physician
    • Physician Assistant
    • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
    • Psychologist
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Knowledge, skills, and abilities Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of youth and family counseling; thorough understanding of principles and methods of basic interviewing and assessment skills; working knowledge of the human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; ability to form an effective supervisory relationship with subordinate staff; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchasers, and clients; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
