FAP Clinical Case Management Serve as the FAP clinical subject mter expert on domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect. Consult with installion leadership, medical professionals, and service/family members regarding clinical needs assessments, determining clinical intervention, and utilizing trement stregies. Follow all processes, per Regional and local Standard Opering Procedures, Counseling Desk Guidance, and FFSP Certificion Standards, and FAP Case Record documention. Conduct initial and on-going FAP clinical assessments with and provide intervention services for active-duty members and their families, including clients who are risk for domestic violence and child abuse. Triage, coordine safety and trement planning, and establish individualized trement goals tailored to the needs of service/family members. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, incident assessments to identify high-risk situions, e.g., suicide or homicide risk, the danger-increased risk of additional family violence. Conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals determine the facts concerning the client's problems and to assess the needs of the client. Provide initial and ongoing case management services to include identifying the situion; comply with and educe on manded reporting protocols of child and domestic ; conducting risk and lethality assessments, coordine safety planning, planning clients' trement; provide referrals, and follow-up on child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse allegions. Provide clinical trement for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltrement. Facilite evidence-based group trement programs, such as domestic abuse offender's group, parenting group, and victim support group. Coordine with the assigned FAP Victim Advoce to ensure victims' needs and concerns are addressed. Present complete and concise initial and follow-up case informion Clinical Case Staff Meetings (CCSM); provide informion on cases, current safety risks, safety planning, and progress of intervention of the abuser and victim; document results and implement recommendions. Provide referrals and coordine with other providers, as recommended by the CCSM. Notify the Family Advocacy Representive (FAR) for high-risk situions. Coordine with the FAR to organize all informion received from the alleged abuser, alleged victim, law enforcement, command, other collerals, and incorpore into a concise and understandable presention for the Incident Determinion Committee (IDC). Participe quality assurance and risk management activities. Per guidance, maintain FAP clinical case records, trement plans, and required stistical da. Deliver FAP training and facilite educion services and ongoing communicion to inform active-duty military, their families, and community members regarding the problems of family violence, FAP requirements, and the services available to them. Provide after-hour on-call services, as directed, for emergent family advocacy situions, including consulting with command/security, evaluing needs, crisis intervention and stabilizion, safety planning, informion and referral, and victim advocacy. II. Community Liaison Liaison with cities, counties, stes, federal and non-government agencies, military agencies, and commands to enhance FAP prevention and response affecting the military community. Represent the Navy community liaison meetings, educing on domestic violence collaboring on coordining services for military members and their families, and engaging in community domestic violence prevention and awareness activities. Educe and provide consultion to military and civilian agencies about Navy FAP, risk assessment, FAP trement, and
IDC/CCSM
processes. Use forms and automed systems to maintain complete and timely records and workload stistics per guidelines. III. Problemic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth Receive reports of problemic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY) from military and civilian representives and take approprie action. Provide or coordine clinical services providers for children, youth, and their families, including psychoeducional support, assessment, and clinical intervention. Coordine with healthcare providers on safety and supervision planning for children and families affected by problemic sexual behaviors. Serve as the designed case manager and primary point of contact for PSB-CY cases ensuring all actions comply policy, instructions, and civilian reporting requirements. Support children and families affected by PSB-CY by providing -risk and safety planning informion to the coordined community response (CCR). Present initial and follow-up case reviews the PSB-CY MDT and Clinical Case Staff Meeting (CCSM). Perform other reled duties as assigned. Professional knowledge of principles and practices of human behavior, research methods, group dynamics, motivional psychology, developmental psychology, and family systems therapy to collabore on developing evidence based group trement curricula.
