POSITION
Clinical Data Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Data Manager is responsible for providing data management support for multiple clinical trials.
Specifically:
Lead clinical data management delivery on one or more studies or special projects with minimal supervision. Lead study start up activities including all activities associated with study database specifications, programing and user acceptance testing. Development and maintenance of data management documents such as Data Management Plan (DMP), CRF and edit check specifications, and Data Transfer Specifications (DTSs). Review data and manage queries/discrepancies for assigned studies where applicable. Provide study status metrics and/or any other study specific reports and data transfers. Lead study close-out activities including database lock and study archive when applicable
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience in medical device, central labs, or in-vitro diagnostic device trials. Experience at a CRO or interventional biotech companies is acceptable.
Previous experience to include:
Handling large data sets, including review and reporting. Working with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and lab data. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and regulatory guidelines, especially those relevant to data quality and accuracy, as well as regulations relevant to clinical trials and laboratory data.
HOURS:
40 hours per week
SALARY:
$148,741.00- $150,000.00 per year
LOCATION
Austin, TX. Position is based out of Austin, TX but role holder is eligible to work remotely from within the US, with manager and HR approval.
