Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare discipline with active licensure or certification
Preferred:
Master's degree in healthcare, public health, data analytics, or a related field
Experience Required:
2-5 years of experience in healthcare quality analytics, clinical data analysis, or performance improvement
Preferred:
Experience in hospital-based quality, patient safety, or performance improvement Experience with regulatory and benchmarking programs (CMS, NHSN, Vizient, Leapfrog) Experience working directly with physicians and clinical leadership Experience leading projects or mentoring junior analysts
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Experience working with EHR data (e.g., Epic, Cerner) Knowledge of healthcare data sources:
  • Administrative claims
  • Clinical registries
  • EHR data Familiarity with statistical methods and performance measurement techniques

Mortality and readmission measures PSI-90 Patient Safety Indicators Hospital-acquired conditions (HACs) Infection prevention metrics (CLABSI, CAUTI, SSI) Length of stay and utilization metrics CMS publicly reported measures Value-based purchasing and quality payment programs Physical This is a safety sensitive position. This role operates within the hospital's Quality and Patient Safety infrastructure and requires extensive collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across clinical, operational, and administrative functions. The position involves handling sensitive clinical data and requires strict adherence to privacy, regulatory, and compliance standards.
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst is a highly skilled analytic and strategic partner responsible for advancing the organization's quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives through advanced clinical and operational data analysis. This role collaborates closely with physician leaders, nursing leadership, and operational stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes, care reliability, regulatory performance, and strategic priorities. As a senior-level contributor, this position serves as a subject matter expert in clinical quality measurement, benchmarking, and performance analytics, and plays a key role in developing enterprise dashboards, analytic frameworks, and performance reporting infrastructure.
