MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK

Healthy Connections, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at our Mena Street location in Mena, Arkansas. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient medical records while supporting quality care initiatives. Key Responsibilities Organize and manage patient health information in electronic medical records (EMRs). File, scan, and maintain patient charts and related medical documents. Handle requests for medical records with a commitment to timeliness and compliance. Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to ensure accurate and efficient documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) standards. Support the coordination of care by working closely with other departments and community health agencies. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience in a medical or administrative support role. Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements and medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health records systems. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve independently, and work collaboratively in a team setting. Occasional travel may be required.
