We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where innovation and compassion drive everything we do.Our Medical Records Clerk:
Organizes, updates, and maintains patient records. Prepares, scans, and indexes medical documentation into EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth). Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with federal (HIPAA) and state regulations. Processes requests for medical records from patients, physicians, and insurance companies. Reviews files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with facility standards. Answers phones, faxes documents, and supports front-office staff with patient intake or discharge processes. Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in health information management preferred. 1-2 years Previous experience in a medical office, hospital, or handling, health information. Senior living experience is strongly preferred. Experience with EHR Software programs. Experience with Medical and Medicaid strongly preferred.
