$37/hr - $41/hr (DOE) The Planet Group is seeking a Clinical Procurement Consultant to support a specialized data-cleansing and harmonization initiative focused on clinical site budgets. This role will convert complex, unstructured clinical budget data into structured, standardized formats to enable robust Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarking, financial transparency, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong clinical and procurement knowledge, capable of independently navigating ambiguous datasets and ensuring high-quality, compliant outputs.
Qualifications:
Experience 2-3 years of experience in clinical trial budgeting, clinical procurement, or related roles Hands-on experience with clinical site budgets and data clean-up Clinical Knowledge Strong understanding of clinical trial terminology Familiarity with Site Payment Schedules and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) Procurement & Finance Experience with clinical sourcing, cost benchmarking, or financial analysis Exposure to diagnostics, pharma, or life sciences industry preferred ???????Technical Skills Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Validation, data manipulation) Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools Ability to work with proprietary/internal systems ???????Compliance & Accuracy Understanding of regulatory requirements for investigator payments and financial transparency Strong attention to detail with an audit-ready mindset??????? Self-directed and comfortable working with minimal supervision Highly detail-oriented with a quality-first approach to data Strong problem-solving skills for handling ambiguous or incomplete datasets Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes
Responsibilities:
Data Harmonization Review, cleanse, and standardize unstructured clinical trial budget data Ensure consistency across global studies, vendors, and trial phases ???????FMV Alignment & Analysis Align site budget line items with Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarks Identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards ???????System Integration Map legacy and unstructured data into internal tools and databases Resolve inconsistencies in terminology, categorization, and cost structures Process Documentation Develop and maintain clear documentation, workflows, and "Source of Truth" frameworks Support long-term data quality and repeatable budgeting processes ???????Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Clinical Operations and Clinical eSolutions teams Validate cost assumptions, procurement benchmarks, and data accuracy
