Front Desk/Check-Out Specialist - Chiropractic Office Join Our Growing Chiropractic Team! At Advanced Back and Neck Care Center , we're dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through personalized chiropractic care. We are currently seeking a Front Desk/Check-Out Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is outgoing, friendly, organized, and passionate about providing excellent patient service. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with our supportive health care team. Front Desk Check-Out Specialist - Job Description The Front Desk Check-Out Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient end-of-visit experience for patients. This role supports patient flow, billing accuracy, scheduling, and medical records coordination while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient follow-up appointments Collect payments at the time of check-out Review and verify charges for accuracy before finalizing patient visits Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner Respond to patient text messages and electronic communications as appropriate Process requests for medical records in compliance with HIPAA and office policies Request, obtain, and organize incoming medical records from outside providers Scan, upload, and maintain accurate electronic medical records and documents Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy into electronic health record (EHR) Provide courteous and professional customer service during all patient interactions Crosstrain with the
Front Desk Check-In Specialist Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative role preferred Familiarity with medical billing, insurance copays, scheduling systems, and EHR software Great attitude with strong team player mindset Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
