In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in clinical informatics, health information management, and health IT systems to optimize electronic health record (EHR) implementations and workflows. Your energetic approach will drive improvements in clinical data management, system design, and interoperability, ensuring seamless integration of technology with patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence clinical processes, support managed care initiatives, and enhance data-driven decision-making across healthcare settings. Duties Support day-to-day maintenance and optimization of Athena and Cerner/Oracle Health clinical applications across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Analyze clinical workflows and user feedback to identify opportunities for efficiency, safety, and usability improvements. Work with analysts to suggest and articulate configuration changes to clinical content such as order sets, documentation templates, PowerPlans, and basic decision support that will improve efficiency and usability. Collaborate with analysts to identify, recommend, and clearly communicate enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes related to upgrades and routine maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve moderate-complexity clinical application issues; escalate more complex issues as appropriate. Participate in enhancement intake and prioritization processes with clinical and operational stakeholders. Maintain documentation for workflows, recommended changes, and standard operating procedures. Provide support for end-user questions and targeted education related to optimized workflows and system changes.
