Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health Information Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage and organize medical records, ensure accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, and support the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Your efforts will help maintain the integrity of patient information and facilitate efficient clinical workflows. Duties Maintain and update patient medical records accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems Verify patient information for completeness and correctness before data entry Organize and file paper-based medical records in accordance with privacy regulations Assist healthcare staff with retrieving and reviewing medical records as needed Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and data security protocol Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical documentation Experience handling, organizing, and maintaining medical records with attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.50 per hour
