SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY
Clinical Application Specialists (CAS) act as the key liaison between clinical operations, providers, and information services to support, optimize, and enhance the
MEDITECH
Expanse EHR. This role is responsible for ongoing configuration, support, testing, and optimization of ambulatory applications and workflows to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care across the continuum. The specialist works closely with providers, clinical support teams, leadership, and vendors to translate clinical requirements into effective system solutions. This position plays an essential role in end-user support, workflow design, training, enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution related to the
EHR. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional & Technical Skills Two + years clinical experience and intra/inter departmental communication. Professional & Technical Skills related to computer software and applications. Education Associates or Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science of healthcare administration, or related health IT degree. Clinical degree in medical technology, nursing, pharmacy, or other health-related degree. License(s) or Certification(s) N/A Other Skills or Requirements Project management skills. Problem solving skills. Time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups) Does not apply
