In this vital role, you will oversee peer support services, provide mentorship to certified peer specialists, and ensure the delivery of compassionate, trauma-informed care. Duties Supervise and mentor certified peer support specialists to ensure high-quality, person-centered care Coordinate and oversee peer support services within behavioral health and mental health programs Facilitate training sessions on crisis intervention, crisis management, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling techniques Monitor service delivery for adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized recovery plans that incorporate peer support strategies Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure confidentiality of client information Lead team meetings, provide performance feedback, and support professional development initiatives Requirements Certification as a Peer Support Specialist Supervisor Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and crisis management within behavioral health settings Strong knowledge of behavioral health, mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and social work principles Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and trauma-informed care approaches Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting purposes Excellent mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and cultural competence Join us in shaping a supportive environment where recovery is possible!
