Job Description

Stroke Clinical Data Analyst Integrates advanced data analytics with clinical nursing expertise to support Stroke Program performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness. In collaboration with physicians, nursing leadership, quality teams, and executive stakeholders, this role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and clinical relevance of stroke data used to evaluate care processes, outcomes, and adnce to evidence-based standards. The position transforms clinical and operational data into actionable insights, supports Joint Commission stroke certification requirements, AHA guidelines, and CMS quality measures, and applies expert clinical judgment to data abstraction, registry management and submission, benchmarking, and performance improvement initiatives. Work Experience Education and Experience - Required
  • Active ed Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Three (3) years of previous clinical nursing experience Education and Experience - Preferred
  • Certification such as Stroke Certified ed Nurse (SCRN), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience in health informatics, healthcare administration, statistics, or related analytical fields
  • Experience supporting Primary, Thrombectomy-Capable, or Comprehensive Stroke Center certification programs
  • Experience with Get With The Guidelines-Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) registry abstraction and reporting
  • Experience with Joint Commission and/or DNV stroke accreditation standards
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and analytics tools such as Epic, MIDAS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable platforms
  • Experience in clinical quality improvement, registry abstraction, or healthcare data analytics Benefits All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
Compensation
Pay Range:
$42.64-$64.00/hour
