Job Description

Position Type:
Full-Time (40 hours per week),
Hourly/Non-Exempt Pay Range :
$21.41 - $25.19 (Commensurate with experience)
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, Days Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) has a rewarding opportunity to serve as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Assistant within our Operations Department. The EHR Assistant is responsible for maintaining system administration and operational support, workflows and oversee problem resolution as it relates to the EHR product, and work with staff to gain efficiencies through improved training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES EHR
Management:
Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and assist with implement improvement plans of action within the EHR system. Deploy, implement solutions and methods to ensure regulations are met for both State and Federal guidelines. Deploy EHR change control process and ensure users are educated on all changes. Communicate effectively with direct staff and to coordinate and utilize all aspects of the deployed EHR solutions.
Training and Development:
Provide advanced end-user support; responds to software application issues Respond to staff concerns by answering CredibleHelp emails. Work with individuals programs on forms and process changes as needed. Develop and deliver training documentation, including system hierarchy, functional system responsibilities, and writing reports using EHR reporting tools; develop job function tools and documentation. Participates in the EHR design and build sessions, tests the application, and documents the findings; maintains the EHR issues database; schedules training for implementation of system change. Communicating all EHR changes and updates when necessary; Accountable for documenting and tracking application development and production technical flow, setting standards, implementing control, and following procedures to maintain systems.
Other Duties:
Work in conjunction with the Information Technology (IT) department for coordination of electronic records and IT services. Backup report person for Data Analysis staff. This includes CCBHC, CIC, MHIS, CRI and other data reporting. Work in the Billing Matrix to support the Billing Manager. Be a member of the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
High School graduate or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of previous EHR experience Excel spreadsheet experience Clear DHS Background Study Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
