Job Description

Health Information System (HIS) - EMR Specialist $17
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Location:
Onsite Duration:
6+ months, with potential for hire
Responsibilities:
Process ROI requests accurately and on time Retrieve, review, and release medical records using EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar) Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI Respond to patient, legal, insurance, and third-party requests Audit ROI logs and EMR access for compliance Collaborate with HIM, IT, and clinical teams Train staff on EMR use, ROI procedures, and data privacy Support EMR upgrades, testing, and reporting Participate in quality improvement initiatives Review Medical Records and process ROI requests
