The Ky lab is a National Institutes of Health-, American Heart Association-, and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute-funded internationally recognized program that focuses on advancing the cardiovascular health of patients living with and beyond cancer through clinical science. The Ky Lab has a postdoctoral position in the field of cardiovascular and cancer clinical epidemiology and data science. This position for a clinical researcher involves the use of large datasets comprised of biomarker, echocardiography, genomic, clinical, social determinants of health and other "-omic" data to understand individual patient risk. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.D. with strong experience in epidemiology, data science, and computational and data analysis. The ideal candidate must also have strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to effectively design an epidemiologic study and develop and execute an analytic plan with close mentorship. This is a two-year position with the opportunity to renew for multiple years. Qualifications Ph.D. or MD with a strong background in epidemiology, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, risk prediction, and manipulation of large datasets. Expertise in biomarkers, genomics, and imaging is also a strength. A demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary and diverse team is important.
