Company Description CRISP Shared Services (CSS) serves as the technology partner for health information exchange (HIE) partners in Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Connecticut, Alaska, Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, and other jurisdictions. CSS facilitates the electronic transfer of clinical information between disparate information systems in order to positively impact the healthcare system through improved patient care and outcomes, reduced costs, and data-driven understanding of regional public health concerns. Job Summary The Clinical Data Quality Analyst role is responsible for facilitating all aspects of the organization's
NCQA DAV
certification cycles, including ensuring healthcare data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with standards required for the program. This role bridges IT operations, data governance, and compliance, supporting both internal processes and external requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for all aspects ofNCQA DAV
program to support annual cycles of certification and re-certification Develop and compile documentation of relevant systems and processes in compliance with audit standards Communicate program requirements to CSS technical teams Conduct Primary Source Verification (PSV) activities, including medical record review, documentation, coordination with technical teams Provide strategic support for data quality assessment and initiatives Facilitate CSS Data Quality Committee Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Skills Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences Clinical experience using electronic health records (EHRs) such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athena, others Demonstrated interest or experience in clinical informatics, workflow improvement, quality improvement, or health IT leadership Demonstrated project management skills Ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and issues Ability to create and understand technical documentation Willingness and excitement to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Experience conducting or responding to compliance audits, preferably in a healthcare setting Proficiency working in Excel; familiarity with SQL Experience and/or Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Nursing Informatics or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years experience with medical documentation and EHR workflows; Familiarity with HL7 standards a plus 2+ years in healthcare quality or related experience preferred Compensation and Benefits Package Targeted base salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and bonuses. Benefits include the following but are not limited to health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. CSS also has a 403(b) plan with discretionary employer match and contributions. You will be eligible for 20 days of Paid Time Off per year (accrued in accordance with CSS' policies). PTO is in addition to 8 company designated holidays.
