Video Role Overview The Epic Ambulatory Senior Analyst is responsible for leading the configuration, optimization, and support of Epic Ambulatory clinical workflows. This role focuses on improving outpatient clinical operations, provider efficiency, and patient care workflows by collaborating closely with clinicians, practice managers, and IT teams. Experience Range 6 10+ years of Epic experience with strong Ambulatory focus Key Responsibilities Lead build and configuration of Epic Ambulatory module features and workflows Configure and support: o Provider workflows, visit navigator, order management, and in-basket workflows o Scheduling and appointment workflows in coordination with Cadence o Clinical documentation, orders, and results review workflows Troubleshoot and resolve complex Ambulatory production issues (L2/L3) Support system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live activities Collaborate with: o Cadence, MyChart, and Inpatient teams o Physicians, nurses, and clinical staff Ensure configurations align with: o Clinical best practices and regulatory standards Participate in workflow design, optimization, and system improvements Mentor junior analysts and provide design guidance Must-Have Skills (Screening Mandatory) Epic Ambulatory Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Epic Ambulatory configuration and support Experience handling: o Provider workflows (visit navigator, documentation) o Orders, results, and clinical workflows o In-basket messaging and task management ________________________________________ Epic Certification Epic Ambulatory Certification (Mandatory) Clinical Workflow Knowledge Strong understanding of: o Outpatient clinical workflows o Physician and nursing operational processes Ability to translate clinical requirements into system design Implementation & Support Experience Experience in: o Build + Run (Implementation + Production Support) o Handling L2/L3 tickets o Enhancements and workflow optimization Stakeholder Management Ability to work with: o Physicians and clinical staff o Business and operations teams Strong communication and requireement gathering skills Tools & Functional Skills Experience with: o Epic Hyperspace / Hyperdrive o Ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar) Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills Good-to-Have Skills (Nice to Screen) Exposure to: o Cadence (Scheduling), MyChart, or Inpatient integrations Experience with: o In-basket workflows optimization and provider efficiency programs
Knowledge of:
