Epic Implementation Analyst Job Location:
Alameda, CA | Hybrid IT01
Description:
AgreeYa is seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to improve healthcare workflows, support system adoption, and ensure the successful delivery of Epic-related initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Epic EHR modules to support clinical and operational business needs. Analyze healthcare workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, usability, and patient care outcomes. Configure and customize Epic applications based on organizational and departmental requirements. Support data migration, data validation, and system integration activities during Epic implementation and upgrade projects. Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system quality and functionality. Provide end-user training, documentation, go-live support, and post-implementation assistance. Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution efforts with Epic support teams and business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, healthcare data privacy standards, and security requirements. Collaborate with project teams to support implementation milestones, system enhancements, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
2+ years of experience implementing, configuring, supporting, or maintaining Epic EHR applications. Hands-on experience with Epic system configuration, workflow analysis, testing, and production support. Experience supporting data migration, validation, system integration, and UAT activities. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows and healthcare IT environments. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare regulations, and data security best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with clinicians, business users, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Epic Certification in Ambulatory, Inpatient, Beaker, Revenue Cycle, or related Epic modules. Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and healthcare data analysis. Previous experience supporting Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects within healthcare organizations.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
