Job Description

Our client is looking to hire an Epic Willow Home Infusion Analyst to join their team for a 6-month fully remote contract opportunity. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Epic Willow Home Infusion Analyst to join our Healthcare IT support team. This pivotal role is designed for professionals who possess a deep understanding of Epic Willow workflows, particularly within home infusion pharmacy operations, and are adept at managing complex support and configuration activities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Active Epic Willow Home Infusion certification (must be current), with additional Epic certifications (Willow Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, Bugsy, etc.) considered a plus. Minimum of 4+ years of Epic application support and management, with substantial experience in home infusion pharmacy operations. Proven expertise in configuring and supporting Epic Willow modules for infusion therapies, medication workflows, and billing, including complex reimbursement scenarios. Strong background in healthcare IT, ideally within large health systems or consulting environments. Prior experience managing distributed support teams, including offshore resources, with excellent communication skills. Thorough understanding of infusion therapy workflows, care coordination, and the continuum of care model. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues rapidly, with strong documentation and end-user training skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Epic Willow Home Infusion workflows, configurations, and system builds, ensuring seamless support for medication preparation, delivery, and billing processes. Manage daily support and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and workflow defect correction, in accordance with established SLAs. Collaborate with offshore teams and onshore stakeholders, prioritizing tickets, delegating tasks, and facilitating effective communication to ensure prompt resolution of support requests•especially during after-hours on-call rotations, with opportunities for OT pay. Lead or contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements, multi-site deployments, and workflow scaling initiatives. Configure and optimize key components such as infusion medication builds (including IV, biologics, and specialty drugs), delivery logistics, medication compounding workflows, and billing rules tailored to payor contracts. Support system integration efforts across inpatient, outpatient, and home infusion modules to enable cohesive care transitions. Develop comprehensive system documentation, including workflows, build specifications, and testing protocols, ensuring adherence to HIPAA, safety standards, and organizational policies. Partner closely with pharmacists, nurses, care coordinators, and other clinical staff to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
