Description Talent Pool Opportunity - Health Information Management (HIM) Records Specialist (Hybrid) Blythe, CA GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is proactively building a talent pool for upcoming HIM Records Specialist opportunities. GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is looking for FT HIM Records Specialists for a hospital located in Blythe, California . This position will be a hybrid role, working on-site 3 days per week and remotely 2 days per week . On-site hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific. This is an employee status (W-2) position, working Monday - Friday. This role will be responsible for performing all tasks related to Release of Information, Scanning, Chart Analysis, Physician Deficiencies, and follow-up. Performs general HIM duties including preparing, compiling, analyzing, and maintaining clinical records Scanning and importing documents into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Enters and retrieves data via the EHR, web portals, file-bound systems, Word, or Excel as necessary Assists in the release of confidential information in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and federal/state laws Distribution of physician deficiency letters Chart analysis within Cerner EMR Maintains a professional, positive attitude with strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in an HIM office environment ( ROI , Scanning, Chart Analysis/Deficiency Management) Release of Information experience required Scanning experience required Chart analysis experience preferred Oracle/Cerner experience required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines is mandatory Must reside within 90 minutes of Blythe, California and be available to work on-site 3 days per week Position is a hybrid role (on-site and remote) Credentialed through AAPC or AHIMA preferred
