Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst II to support a large healthcare environment. This role focuses heavily on EpicCare Ambulatory with an emphasis on e‑prescribing workflows, including controlled substances, prior authorizations, and refills. The analyst will independently support Epic build, testing, and optimization while partnering closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient ambulatory workflows. This is a fully remote, permanent opportunity supporting an enterprise Epic environment.   • 3+ years EpicCare Ambulatory experience
  • Epic Ambulatory certification
  • Hands‑on Epic experience with e‑prescribing workflows, including: ○ Controlled substances ○ Electronic prior authorizations (ePA) ○ Medication refill protocols
  • Epic build, configuration, testing, and validation experience
  • Experience supporting ambulatory clinical workflows
  • Experience with Epic medication tools (eRx, FDB, IMO)
  • Experience supporting Epic upgrades and system updates
  • Large health system or academic medical center background
