Job Description
Senior EMR Informaticist 35 hrs per week Hybrid at Providence, RI Note- These positions are needed for critical EMR project and so looking for resources experienced in implementing Electronic Health Record and has clinical background. Clinical Informaticist will support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the hospital s electronic health record (EHR). This position serves as a liaison between clinical staff and information technology personnel to help ensure that EHR functionality supports clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and high-quality patient care Requirements
- Associate or bachelor s degree in clinical discipline, Computer Science, Informatics, or a closely related field, required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment, gained through direct clinical practice or clinical informatics, health IT, or clinical systems support roles.
- Experience working with EHR platforms such as WellSky, Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other enterprise healthcare systems.
- Direct clinical practice experience (e.g., nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology), preferred but not required.
- Certification or advanced education in health or clinical informatics is preferred and may substitute for clinical experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
