Position Summary:
The UT Medical is seeking a Clinical Applications Training Analyst to become an integral part of our dynamic Clinical Applications team. The Training Analyst will assist with the development, maintenance, and delivery of Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) instructional materials to the UT Medical clinical environment through the use of computerized media, at the elbow support and instructor led training classes. The trainer will also take part in building, implementing, and supporting various aspects of Oracle Health applications within the UT Medical clinical environment.
Other duties include:
Prepare necessary documentation, training materials and training in a variety of formats for end users. Support new Oracle Health Clinical applications by ensuring the successful operation and use of existing Oracle Health applications through accurate and timely instructional materials. Determine best delivery practices; identify Super Users to assist with meeting designated goals and objectives. Serve as a vital interface between the Systems Analyst developers and front-end users, communicate effectively any pertinent workflow or systems issues and assist with resolutions that support both the technical team and the front-end users/stakeholders. Lead one-on-one and group training sessions for clinic staff, provide system support in clinic and office settings, as well as serve as an onsite resource for staff members during Oracle Health implementations, upgrades and other hospital wide clinical rollouts. Communicate and educate a wide variety of medical center hospital staff. Monitor systems performance, document problems, perform troubleshooting and assist with the development of work aids that result in the identification and correction of error conditions. Provide go-live and pre/post-implementation support for new modules and system solutions to assist users in the monitoring of documentation completeness, accuracy, and compliance with hospital, State, and Federal standards. Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshooting and problem solving. Log service requests serve as a liaison with vendor support resources. Seek ways to improve quality and effectiveness of various clinical processes.
Position Qualification:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT and/or a clinical related field preferred. 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of educations and experience related certification Experience developing Cerner functionality curriculums, job aids, quick tips and newsletters. Classroom training and 1 on 1 training experience required Basic front in knowledge of PowerChart, PowerChart Ambulatory, PowerChart Oncology, FirstNet, PathNet and PowerChart Maternity preferred Great customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the development of web-based training modules a plus Knowledge and/or experience using a Learning Management Program Knowledge of clinical workflows IF Generator experience Applications Front end knowledge of PowerChart, PowerChart Oncology, PowerChart Ambulatory, FirstNet, Registration, Capacity Management and PowerChart Maternity.
