Job Description

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an Epic Template Builder for a contract assignment in the Tacoma, WA area. This role will support a healthcare organization transitioning from NextGen to Epic, focusing on template build, system support, and data entry.
Assignment Details Start:
ASAP Duration:
Project-based (Epic conversion support)
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Requirements Minimum 2 years of Epic template or content build experience Minimum 5 years working in an Epic environment (super user or similar role) Experience supporting Epic implementations or system conversions preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams Responsibilities Design and build scheduling templates in Epic for clinical and support staff Work with internal teams to identify template needs and timelines Update and adjust templates based on staffing and operational changes Perform manual data entry and migration tasks within Epic Support staff with best practices and guidance on Epic scheduling workflows Collaborate with IT and project teams throughout the system transition Additional Information Healthcare IT project environment Team-based workflow supporting Epic conversion Opportunity to support a full system implementation Benefits Highly competitive pay Weekly direct deposit Award-winning support team Credentialing Requirements Background check Drug screen HIPAA training Code of Conduct attestation Additional site onboarding requirements may apply Want to learn more about what it is like to work for SMS?
