Summary:
The Core Laboratory Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the core laboratory and ensuring accurate and timely analysis and reporting of clinical samples. The manager's responsibilities include hiring and scheduling for dayshift, technical management, and all accreditation maintenance requirements for the Core Laboratory. Areas of responsibility include management and training of laboratory personnel, scheduling for dayshift, controlling expenses- tracking revenue and troubleshooting if needed, assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, technical management, management of quality, regulatory and accrediting agency compliance, and new instrumentation and implementation for the core lab. The Technical Specialist, Quality Specialist, Trainer, 2nd Shift Supervisor, 3rd Shift Supervisor, and Special Lab Services Supervisor will report to this manager.Other information:
Must have good working knowledge of CLIA and must have operational knowledge of regulatory requirements for CAP, OSHA and Joint Commission. Credentials withEquivalent Qualifications:
