About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Lab Supervisor for our Laboratory department. As a Lab Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the main laboratory ensuring that all procedures and protocols are followed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of technical staff and ensuring that all testing is performed in a timely and accurate manner. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care possible. •$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS•
Tuition Reimbursement Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Three (3) years of experience as a Medical Technologist registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP- preferred) or equivalent required. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory Experience in a supervisory role Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the main laboratory Manage a team of technical lab staff Ensure that all procedures and protocols are followed accurately and efficiently Perform testing as needed Maintain accurate records of all testing and results
Skills:
As a Lab Supervisor, you will utilize your strong knowledge of lab procedures and protocols to ensure that all testing is performed accurately and efficiently. You will also use your excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team of technical staff and maintain accurate records of all testing and results. Additionally, you may utilize laboratory information systems (LIS) to manage laboratory operations and ensure that all testing is performed in a timely and accurate manner. Overall, your skills will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care possible.
