Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, coordinates, and supervises the functions of the assigned section(s) including testing, training, monitoring supplies, and relating with department administration and physicians.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education B.S. in Science or Associates degree in Science with minimum 3 years clinical laboratory experience. Minimum Experience At least 2 years' experience in MT position in an accredited clinical laboratory. Required Registration/License/Certification Completion of Nationally Accredited Clinical Laboratory Science Program. Holds MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP), or equivalent, or obtains within 6 months of hire. Preferred Education B.S. in Medical Technology. Preferred Experience At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory position.
