Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Assistant Supervisor responsible for displaying leadership skills for the day-to-day lab operations as well as provide administrative support to the Microbiology Laboratory. What you will need: High School diploma or Associate degree. Some background knowledge or experience of working in a lab, preferably microbiology lab. Computer skills and ability to utilize standard Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Must have strong leadership, communication, and time management skills. Must be able to distinguish differences in color, with or without accommodation. Self-starter and ability to track and maintain project process independently. Ability to maintain high quality standards with minimal supervision and to bring urgent matters to the attention to proper personnel for immediate resolution. Ability to read and interpret procedures, safety information, operating and maintenance instructions. Strong planning and organizational skills and proactive work initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information. Ability to work daily overtime. Bi-lingual English/Spanish. Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.
