Lead Phlebotomy Supervisor -
Outpatient Lab Operations Location:
Harbor City, CA Schedule:
Mon-Fri | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (flex to 4:30 PM)
Overview:
Lead high-impact phlebotomy and pre-analytical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role oversees multiple outpatient sites, driving quality, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 25-35 phlebotomists Oversee daily intake and pre-analytical lab workflows Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards Conduct site visits and optimize multi-site operations Coach staff and drive performance improvements Partner with leadership to resolve issues and streamline processes
Qualifications:
Active California Phlebotomy License required Strong phlebotomy and lab operations experience (outpatient preferred) Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage teams across multiple locations
Additional Details:
Local travel between outpatient sites Occasional after-hours support Temp-to-hire with strong extension potential
