Your impact as a Laboratory Service Supervisor, is vital. Contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by efficiently overseeing and coordinating daily technical operations, providing skilled technical support. Perform blood component processing and labeling and routine testing of biological samples. What to Expect Salary Grade 120.2BS Salary Range:

Oversee department equipment maintenance program, including preventative maintenance records and vendor scheduling. Manage the Product Quality Control program, including completion of product QC record, assessments, reporting, failure investigations and corrective action. Investigate deviations in testing, quality control and preventative maintenance. Assist in reporting and resolving deviations. Conduct required competency observations and complete documentation. Provide effective leadership to achieve high levels of service and product quality, financial results to meet company goals. Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or medical laboratory science required. Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for moderate or high complexity testing required. Certification as a Technologist in blood banking (BB) or Specialist in blood banking (SBB) preferred. One year of laboratory experience required. Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
