Vision Lab Manager Hero Practice Services - 2.8 Colorado Springs, CO Job Details $63,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Vision insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building Laboratory inventory control Bachelor's degree Team management Manufacturing Manufacturing company experience Operational budget management Organizational budget management Full Job Description We are currently seeking a Vision Lab Manager to oversee all aspects of the lab, including personnel management, inventory control, vendor relations, and overall operations. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
Pay range:
$63K-$70K/yr Job Responsibilities Build a community within the lab that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by continually mentoring and coaching teammates, maintaining a positive and professional attitude with teammates, and participating in the review process for all staff members Ensure lab is performing on key growth drivers, including quality, lead time, staffing, and referrals Manage employee files, oversee timesheets, submit payroll, and supervise lab teammates Monitor flow of product through the lab and continually identify opportunities to improve the process in ways that do not negatively impact patient care Lead teammates to ensure production goals are met Collaborate with others to provide high-quality eyewear and experience for our patients and their families Build and maintain positive relationships with the clinics we serve Coordinate with vision lab team members to ensure flow of product through the lab Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field At least five years of leadership experience Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Previous experience in LEAN/Operational Excellence Experience owning and managing a budget Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to handle a diverse workload Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly and outgoing demeanor Experience with inventory organizing and flow throughout a day-to-day basis In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.Compensation:
