At OraLabs, Inc, we create high-quality Personal Care and OTC drug products such as sunscreen, lip balm, mouthwash, breath freshener, hand sanitizer, deodorants and pain relief. Our products are sold in all major US retail stores and internationally. Our facility operates under strict cGMP guidelines. We develop formulas, compound, fill and final package products ready to ship to retail stores. The Laboratory Manager is responsible for carrying out the duties, responsibilities and overseeing the safety of the Analytical and Microbiological Laboratories. This role involves maintaining the inventory level of reagents and supplies, overseeing the environmental monitoring program and training of Analytical Chemists on their laboratory responsibilities. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the management of the Stability Program and laboratory out-of-specification investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies, including but not limited to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), International Council of Harmonization (ICH), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Assist in the Quality System processes present for identification, sampling, and retention of raw materials; maintain documentation to regulatory requirements. Manage and oversee the Microbiology and Analytical Laboratories; minimizes waste by efficient use of reagents, controls, supplies, and time. Develop and design stability studies. Oversee all laboratory out-of-specification investigations. Manage the Environmental Monitoring Program; adhere to monitoring schedules in accordance with procedures and protocols. Manage third party testing. Oversee Final Batch Record Review.

Comprehensive Benefit Package Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field; preferably a chemistry discipline. Experience in laboratory procedures and processes required. Industry experience in cosmetic and/or Over-the-Counter manufacturing preferred.
Instrumentation knowledge preferred:
HPLC/UPLC
GC/FID and
GC/MS FTIR
UV-Vis Knowledge of United States Pharmacopeia standards preferred. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices preferred.

$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
