Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pathology Laboratory Manager to lead and oversee our dynamic pathology laboratory operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards of laboratory quality, compliance, and efficiency while managing a talented team of laboratory professionals. Your expertise will drive innovation, uphold regulatory standards, and support groundbreaking research and clinical diagnostics. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of pathology and laboratory science. Duties Lead and supervise daily laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory guidelines including GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Oversee laboratory procedures across disciplines such as histology, microbiology, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory testing to maintain accuracy and reliability. Manage laboratory information systems (LIS) to ensure precise data collection, tracking, and reporting for research, clinical trials, and diagnostic purposes. Develop, implement, and optimize laboratory techniques and protocols to enhance operational efficiency and scientific rigor. Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols; conduct audits and inspections regularly. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting to meet organizational goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience managing a clinical or research pathology laboratory with a strong understanding of
GLP, FDA
regulations, CGMP, and other regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated expertise in laboratory information management systems (LIS) and data analysis skills for research & development projects. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in a high-volume laboratory setting. Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and quality assurance practices; experience conducting audits is preferred.
