Laboratory Manager / General Supervisor

Overview We are a CLIA-certified and COLA-accredited clinical laboratory seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager / General Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations, personnel, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient laboratory workflow, maintaining high-quality testing standards, and supporting continued compliance with applicable federal, state, and accreditation requirements. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee daily operations of the clinical laboratory Manage laboratory workflow, staffing, and specimen processing activities Coordinate laboratory instrumentation setup, maintenance, and operational readiness Ensure accurate and timely testing, reporting, and quality documentation Monitor and maintain laboratory quality assurance and quality control programs Ensure compliance with CLIA, COLA, OSHA, FDA, and other applicable regulatory standards Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel competency and performance Observe and review specimen handling, testing procedures, quality control records, and maintenance activities Support implementation and adherence to laboratory policies, procedures, GLP, and GMP standards Assist with laboratory inspections, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing process improvements Collaborate with laboratory leadership to support operational and organizational goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, Chemical Science, or related scientific field required Must meet CLIA qualifications for General Supervisor under 42 CFR 493 Previous experience in a clinical laboratory leadership or supervisory role preferred Strong understanding of CLIA, COLA, CAP, OSHA, and laboratory quality systems Experience overseeing moderate and/or high complexity testing environments preferred Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to manage personnel, prioritize workflow, and maintain regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment Continuing Education Employees in this role are expected to complete annual continuing education and maintain ongoing competency requirements in accordance with laboratory policy and applicable regulations. Pay:

$85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
