Job Description
Responsibilities
I. JOB SUMMARY
Manages the daily operations and directs the administration, management, coordination and integration of programs, regarding patient care activities and services for the areas assigned.
Ensures functions, services, programs, and activities support short and long-range strategic plans and meet the goals and objectives of The Queen's Medical Center (QMC) and The Queen's Health Systems (QHS).
Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and procedures of QMC and QHS.
Develops, coordinates, implements, and assesses for effectiveness, programs and projects to promote, enhance, and expand services provided for areas assigned.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Nursing or Healthcare Administration; or four (4) years progressive experience in ambulatory, preferably in a physician practice may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Master's degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Management or related field preferred.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse preferred.
C. EXPERIENCE
In addition to the educational requirement, four (4) years experience in ambulatory operations or healthcare operations including at least two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting, medical office or clinic environment.
Experience to demonstrate the following: o Solid knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and/or other information systems functionality including access and maintenance of the system controls.
o Strong leadership, facilitation and project management skills. o Skill in dealing with multi-disciplinary teams and an appreciation in working effectively with competing priorities. o Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
