Job Description
What You'll Do Lead and develop a high-performing laboratory team through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Partner with the Medical Director to support quality patient care and laboratory operations. Oversee complex blood bank testing, quality control, validations, and regulatory compliance. Ensure testing accuracy, resolve technical issues, and maintain quality standards. Manage training, competency assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective actions. Support department budgets, supply purchases, and operational excellence. Schedule Monday-Friday | Day Shift Flexible start and end times based on business needs. Minimal on-call responsibilities and no routine holiday coverage. Compensation $80,000-$100,000 annually (based on experience) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a biological or related field and SBB (ASCP) equivalent required. State license may be required where applicable 5+ years of high-complexity blood bank experience. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
